I am so excited to share my journey, my thoughts, what I learned, etc. I want this to be something that I get to look back and remind myself, and to see how far I came.

My goal for the new year is to be the best version of myself. That starts with creating and building wealth, nourishing my body and keeping my body strong, learning and reading things that are aligned with my values, and being intentional in every part of my life.

I was feeling irritated, was aware of mean thoughts about myself, and not feeling the best. One important thing that I learned was that I don’t want to use my feeling to dictate my actions, especially when I have couple goals that I am working towards.

My goals are the following:

  • financial freedom – starting a business
  • getting into medical school to be a psychiatrist
  • eating healthy and exercising daily to have optimal energy
  • inner peace, positive and growth mindset

I recently just finished listening to The Millionaire Fastlane by MJ DeMarco, and here are my takeaways from this book. First is that I need to change my beliefs and thoughts about building wealth, and that I must take action. I also realized that I am in control of my life and that I am determined to make financial freedom part of my reality. That begins with my beliefs that I can do this.

This blog is a place for me to keep myself accountable and share my journey to financial freedom. I also want to share meal planning.

This is also a reminder for myself to take things one step at a time. I am pretty occupied with studying for the MCAT but I am determined to make a blog post daily, and improve one step at a time.

This month, I am doing a no spend on grocery challenge, where I am going to use up everything that I have. I am planning to make kitchari since I have mung daal, basmati rice, and lots of spices, have frozen chicken breast, among other things.

Here are my grocery list to buy for next month, based on what I am craving, which are burger bowls, tacos, and chicken caesar salad. I will be buying ground beef, red onions, lettuce, block cheese.

What makes me excited is not wasting food, using my money wisely. I will share my journey on that too!

I am not sure how I will organize my posts and my blog, but I am proud of myself for just starting and being committed to share what I am doing and learning!
